Hard Disk Drive Dvd Recorders Underwhelmed

Underwhelmed - hard disk drive dvd recorders Hitachi DVD Video Camera / Recorder (DZ-HS903A)

I bought the camera tries to save money, but he still landed a Canon VIXIA HF100. Here are my comments to the camera.

Pros
* Recorded video formats to MPEG format which is easily in my Media Center for Xbox 360 without conversion.
* You can configure that he record in widescreen 16x9.
* Your child, when I thought it would.

Cons
* The picture quality at the highest level was OK.
* The button for selecting the SD card, hard drive and the DVD has been postponed and change a pain.
* If necessary, special software to run files from the camera to the PC hard drive.
* The transfer rates were slow and disconnected clips at regular intervals even shorter.
* Photos only allowed a 1 GB SD card. I see SDHC not allowed, but not allow, 2 Go is odd.
* Not applicable for the camera. I met a few times by accident.

So it's not a bad camera for the price, but if you want better video quality and get easy to use, I recommend shopping around. I especially like the Canon, because it can record in SD CARD, no moving parts, less power from the battery and can insert the card into my card reader and transfer, without any special software. SDHC prices are low and fell into a PC Card slot is the way to transfer video clips in large format.
